Animal Feed Processing Flow

Animal feed production faces the challenge of efficiently processing diverse raw materials while ensuring product quality.   01 Raw Material Drying
  Harvested raw materials usually contain high moisture levels, which must be dried to prevent mold growth during storage.
  
  A low-temperature circulation dryer is used to ensure uniform moisture reduction while preserving nutritional value.

  02 Storage
  Dried raw materials are transported to steel silos or flat warehouses for stable storage.
  
  The storage system is equipped with ventilation systems and temperature & humidity monitoring devices to prevent caking, mold, and pest infestation.

  03 Cleaning
  Before processing, raw materials undergo cleaning to remove impurities such as dust, stones, metals, and straw.
  
  Common cleaning equipment includes vibrating screens, de-stoners, and magnetic separators, ensuring raw material purity and improving feed quality.

  04 Grinding
  Raw materials are ground to the appropriate particle size using a hammer mill or ultra-fine grinder, enhancing animal digestibility. Grinding ensures uniform particle size, meeting the feed requirements for different animals.
  
  A pulse dust removal system is installed to reduce dust pollution and improve workplace safety.

  05 Batching & Mixing
  According to feed formulas, various raw materials are accurately weighed to ensure nutritional balance. An electronic batching system enables automated control of ingredient ratios, improving precision.
  
  After batching, materials enter the mixer, ensuring uniform blending and preventing ingredient separation.

  06 Pelleting
  A ring die pellet mill compresses the powdered feed into pellets, improving palatability and storage stability. A conditioner is equipped to apply steam before pelleting, enhancing pellet durability and reducing fines.
  
  Different ring die sizes are available to meet the feed requirements of various animals, such as pigs, chickens, and cattle.

  07 Cooling
  Freshly produced feed pellets have high temperatures and must be cooled to prevent caking and mold formation.
  
  A counterflow cooler is used to ensure uniform cooling, bringing pellets close to ambient temperature for better storage stability.

  08 Screening
  Cooled feed pellets pass through a vibrating screen to remove dust and unqualified pellets, ensuring product consistency.
  
  Fine powder collected during screening can be recycled, reducing waste and improving raw material utilization.

  09 Packing
  A fully automated packaging machine weighs and packs the final feed products, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. Packaging options include small bags (5-50kg) and large bulk bags (ton bags) to meet different market demands.
  
  After packaging, finished products are stored in warehouses for shipment or transported directly through a bulk feed delivery system.
