Project Planning & 3D Design
HERM develops the proposed feed mill process and 3D layout around your feed formulas, target output, available space and site conditions.
Designed for small and medium-scale poultry and livestock feed projects, the 8–12 T/H feed production line integrates raw material receiving, grinding, batching, mixing, conditioning, pelleting, cooling, screening and packing.
HERM’s 8–12 T/H animal feed production line is designed for small- to medium-scale commercial mills producing poultry and livestock feed. Depending on the feed formula and project requirements, the process can integrate raw material cleaning, grinding, batching, mixing, conditioning, pelleting, cooling, screening and packing.
HERM configures the equipment and plant layout around your raw materials, target feed products, operating hours and available space. The stated 8–12 T/H capacity is a planning range, not a guaranteed output for every formula; actual production depends on factors such as grinding fineness, pellet size and the final equipment configuration.

An 8–12 T/H feed production line may include raw material receiving and cleaning, grinding, batching and mixing, conditioning and pelleting, cooling, screening, and packing. The exact process and equipment depend on the feed products you plan to make.
HERM selects and configures each unit around your feed formulas, ingredient characteristics, target output, operating hours, and available plant space. Equipment access, material flow, and maintenance requirements are also considered in the layout.
The line can be planned for a new feed mill or adapted to upgrade an existing facility. For an upgrade, suitable existing equipment can be assessed for integration into the proposed process.

We provide overall project planning and equipment supply, from process design to commissioning.
HERM develops the proposed feed mill process and 3D layout around your feed formulas, target output, available space and site conditions.
Equipment placement, maintenance access, ingredient storage and material flow are planned around the available building space.
Equipment is selected for the required feed products, raw materials, operating schedule and site conditions. Suitable existing machines can also be assessed for upgrades.
The project scope can include installation guidance, equipment inspection, system commissioning and initial production support.
Operator training can cover equipment operation, routine inspection, maintenance requirements and common troubleshooting procedures.
HERM provides technical communication for operating questions, maintenance issues and future production-line improvements.
Dust collection, air aspiration, production monitoring and automation functions can be configured for the selected process and project requirements.
The final service scope and responsibilities are confirmed in the project agreement.

The 8-12 T/H feed production line includes the following main steps.
Raw materials are received and stored according to their characteristics and the plant's production plan.
Cleaning equipment removes unwanted material, including larger impurities and magnetic contaminants.
Feed ingredients are ground to a particle size suited to the formula and finished feed requirements.
Ingredients are weighed according to the formula and mixed to achieve a consistent blend.
The mixed feed is conditioned and formed into pellets of the specified size.
Fresh pellets are cooled before downstream handling, screening and storage.
Screening separates fines and off-size material from pellets that meet the product specification.
Finished feed is weighed and packed into bags or prepared for bulk handling, as required.
Optional crumbling can be added after cooling when the required feed product calls for it. The final process is configured around the project requirements.
Produce feed for broilers, layers, chicks, breeders and ducks in mash, crumble or pellet form, according to the required formula.
Configure compound feed production for dairy or beef cattle based on the selected ingredients, feed form and formulation.
Plan pelleted feed production around the required formula, fiber characteristics and feeding program.
Produce pig feed for different growth stages with equipment selected for the formula, ingredient properties and pellet specifications.
A line can be configured for multiple poultry and livestock feed formulas, with batching, storage and changeover needs considered in the design.
HERM plans the feed production process from raw material receiving to finished-feed handling around your formulas, target output and available plant space.
Grinding, mixing, pelleting and other equipment are selected according to the feed formulas, raw materials and required product specifications.
Where the site conditions allow, the equipment layout can be adapted to an existing building while considering access, material flow and maintenance space.
The control system can be configured to monitor selected equipment and operating conditions according to the project's automation requirements.
Engineering design and equipment manufacturing are coordinated around the selected process and equipment interfaces.
HERM provides technical communication from project planning and commissioning through operation, maintenance and future plant improvements.
Output depends on the feed formula, ingredient properties, grinding fineness, pellet diameter, equipment configuration and operating conditions. The 8–12 T/H figure is a planning range; HERM assesses the proposed capacity against your specific feed products and production schedule.
A site and layout assessment is needed before this can be confirmed. Share the floor dimensions, clear height, column positions, access points and available utilities. Equipment placement, material flow, storage and maintenance space should be reviewed together.
Provide the project location, target output, daily operating hours, main feed formulas, raw materials and required feed form or pellet sizes. Include building drawings, available utilities, packing requirements and details of any existing equipment you want to retain.
